We are looking for a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team in New Brunswick. The ideal candidate has strong experience in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and various welding processes. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment where precision and safety are paramount. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fitting requirements
Lay out, position, align, and fit metal components for welding
Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), and other processes as required
Cut, grind, shape, and prepare metal parts using torches, grinders, and power tools
Assemble and fabricate structural components, machinery parts, or custom projects
Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with standards
Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE

Requirements Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Welder Fitter
Valid welding tickets/certifications (CWB, Red Seal, or equivalent) considered a strong asset
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience with structural steel, aluminum, or heavy fabrication preferred
Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable transportation and willingness to work in various weather conditions (if outdoor/site work applies)
